This here Rolex Submariner, I tell ya, it’s somethin’ else. My grandson, he’s always goin’ on about fancy things, showed me this watch. Said it’s a high imitation Rolex Submariner. I said, “What in tarnation is that?” He says it’s like the real deal, but not so pricey. Now, I don’t know much about these highfalutin things, but it sure does look shiny.
He kept talkin’ about findin’ a good place to get one. Said somethin’ about these Rolex Submariner specialty stores. He wants that super clone quality. I told him, “Boy, you and your fancy words!” He says these stores, they know all about these watches. They check ’em real good, make sure they ain’t no fakes. These folks in the stores, they know their stuff, I reckon. He was readin’ off some names, “Prestige this” and “Bob’s that.” Sounded like a bunch of gibberish to me. He just likes the look. It’s all about lookin’ the part, I guess.
My grandson, he found this place online, some kinda market. They call it The RealReal. They sell all sorts of used things, clothes and jewelry and such. Said they got people there that know how to tell a real Rolex from a fake one. That’s probably a good thing, ’cause I sure can’t tell the difference. These online places, they got it all figured out, I suppose. They take care of all that authentication stuff. These high imitation Rolex Submariners are popular, my grandson told me. Seems like everyone wants one.
Then he was talkin’ about another place, Chrono24. More watches! New ones, used ones, all kinds. It’s like a whole world of these shiny things I never knew existed. Said folks sell their watches on there, and you can get a good price. Well, that’s good, I reckon. Everyone likes a bargain, even with these fancy watches. My grandson mentioned something about good prices on these Rolex Submariner watches. There are lots of choices, too.

Then there’s this other place he mentioned, Bob’s Watches. Another one! Seems like there’s a whole bunch of these places sellin’ these watches. These are Rolex Submariner specialty stores, my grandson says. Just for these Rolex watches. I guess if you’re gonna spend your money on somethin’ like that, you wanna make sure you’re gettin’ the real deal, or at least somethin’ that looks like it. They all seem to specialize in luxury watches, whatever that means.
And there is one more called WatchBox. There sure are a lot of these places. I guess it’s a big business, these watches. He said you can buy and sell on there, too. It’s all a bit much for me. I’d rather spend my money on somethin’ useful, like a new plow for the garden. But, to each their own, I always say.
Now my grandson, he took his old watch to some place called High Grade Watch Inc. in Plano, Texas. He wanted to get it fixed up. Said they were real knowledgeable there, knew all about these old watches. It was a vintage Rolex Submariner. Sounds like they treated him good, too. That’s important, I reckon. You want folks to treat you right, especially when you’re dealin’ with somethin’ valuable like that.
Then he started talkin’ about auctions. Heritage Auctions, he said. They sell all sorts of old things, even these watches. Said they have these special watch auctions. People bid on ’em, try to get the best price. It’s like a big game, I guess. They even tell you what your old watch is worth, for free! They call that an appraisal. They sell luxury watches and antique ones. I guess there is a lot of history in these old watches.
I still don’t understand all this fuss about these high imitation Rolex Submariner watches. But my grandson, he’s happy. He’s got his shiny watch, and he’s proud of it. And that’s all that matters, I suppose. These Rolex Submariner specialty stores, they seem to be doin’ alright. Lots of folks buyin’ these watches. It’s a different world these days. Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy things. We were happy with what we had. But I always say to my grandson, you do what makes you happy.
I suppose, if you want one of these fancy Rolex watches, you’ve got plenty of options. That’s a good thing. Just make sure you know what you’re buyin’. That’s what my grandson says, and he seems to know a thing or two about these things. These online places and these Rolex Submariner specialty stores, there are lots of choices. They seem to know what they’re doin’. So, if you want a high imitation Rolex Submariner, just do your research, I reckon. That’s what my grandson always says.
