You know what? I heard some folks talking ’bout this fancy watch, the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Apollo 8 they call it, or somethin’ like that. “Dark Side of the Moon,” they say. Sounds kinda spooky if you ask me.
Well, this here watch, it ain’t just any old ticker. They say it’s like those astronaut fellas wore when they went up to that big ol’ moon in the sky. Back in, uh, ’68, I think it was? Yep, 1968, that’s right. Apollo 8, that’s what they called the spaceship. First time anybody ever went round the moon, they say. Imagine that!

Like I said, I ain’t been there, but it does look kinda neat. All those little holes and bumps.

You know, those astronauts, they wore somethin’ like this when they went up there. Brave fellas, goin’ up to that big rock in the sky. I can’t even imagine. I heard some folks say this watch is about the “mystery” and “allure” of space. That’s a fancy way of sayin’ space is a big, dark place and we don’t know everything about it.
