Okay, so, the other day, I got this idea in my head. I saw this PRADA Medium Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag online, and I just thought, “Wow, that’s a beauty, I gotta have it.” But, you know, the price tag was a bit too much for my wallet. So, I thought, “Why not make one myself?” I mean, how hard could it be, right?
First things first, I started gathering my materials. Now, I’ve always been a sucker for those classic styles, so I knew I needed that iconic Saffiano leather. I managed to find some really good quality leather. Let me tell you, this Saffiano leather is the real deal. I’ve bumped it, scratched it a bit, and it still looks brand new.
Then came the hard part – actually making the bag. I definitely underestimated this project. But, I was determined to see it through.

The lining was another challenge. I wanted something that would feel nice and luxurious, so I chose a soft fabric. Sewing the lining was a bit tricky, making sure it fit perfectly inside the bag.
The Final Touches
After many, many hours of work, I finally finished my very own “Remake” PRADA Medium Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag. Now, it’s not perfect, mind you. There are a few wonky stitches here and there, and it’s definitely not as polished as the real thing. But, you know what? I made it. And that’s something I’m pretty proud of. Plus, it goes with pretty much everything in my closet.
It was a lot of work, but I learned so much. Would I do it again? Maybe not anytime soon, my fingers need a break! But it was definitely an experience I’ll never forget.
