Okay, so, the other day, I got this idea in my head. I saw this PRADA Medium Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag online, and I just thought, “Wow, that’s a beauty, I gotta have it.” But, you know, the price tag was a bit too much for my wallet. So, I thought, “Why not make one myself?” I mean, how hard could it be, right?

First things first, I started gathering my materials. Now, I’ve always been a sucker for those classic styles, so I knew I needed that iconic Saffiano leather. I managed to find some really good quality leather. Let me tell you, this Saffiano leather is the real deal. I’ve bumped it, scratched it a bit, and it still looks brand new.

Then came the hard part – actually making the bag. It’s about making a Remake PRADA Medium Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag, I found some information online that said the original bag is made of 83 pieces. 83 pieces! Can you believe that? I definitely underestimated this project. But, I was determined to see it through.

I started by cutting the leather. This took forever. I followed the instructions and measurements, made sure everything was precise.

  • Cut the leather for the front and back panels.
  • Cut the leather for the sides and bottom.
  • Cut the leather for the handles and the shoulder strap.
  • Cut the lining fabric for the interior.

Once all the pieces were cut, I started sewing. And let me tell you, sewing leather is no joke. It’s tough! My fingers were sore, and I broke a few needles along the way, but I kept going.

I stitched the front and back panels together, then attached the sides and the bottom. Next, I worked on the handles and the shoulder strap. After all the pieces were sewn together, it’s time to assemble them. It was slow work, but seeing the bag slowly take shape was so rewarding.

The lining was another challenge. I wanted something that would feel nice and luxurious, so I chose a soft fabric. Sewing the lining was a bit tricky, making sure it fit perfectly inside the bag.

The Final Touches

After many, many hours of work, I finally finished my very own “Remake” PRADA Medium Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag. Now, it’s not perfect, mind you. There are a few wonky stitches here and there, and it’s definitely not as polished as the real thing. But, you know what? I made it. And that’s something I’m pretty proud of. Plus, it goes with pretty much everything in my closet.

It was a lot of work, but I learned so much. Would I do it again? Maybe not anytime soon, my fingers need a break! But it was definitely an experience I’ll never forget.
